grumpy reporter
this was a rough week. Two great stories I worked on went down the tubes starting late Thursday afternoon and I kissed the other good bye before noon today.
I was very upset. It is hard to plan the front page and then....like sand thru the hour glass it was gone.
My editor and I commiserated and then got down to find other potiential bits.
Sometimes it happens...one story doesnt make it...but the two I had been nurturing all week...egads.
It pretty near stopped my heart.
