Hi Themoccas.
First, congratulations on finding that special someone! It's no easy feat, but when you do, it certainly turns your world upside down and inside out (in a good way!).
Secondly, congratulations on your commitment ceremony!! That's just wonderful. I wish you and your partner many, many years of love and happiness.
Lastly, YES to nerves!! My partner and I had our commitment ceremony a couple of years ago, and we were incredibly nervous leading up to the day. But somehow, on the actual day, all those nerves disappeared and it all flowed by so incredibly well. Once the time arrives, you will find the nerves are replaced by excitement and anticipation. It was simply amazing sharing the day with all our friends and our family. We have such fond memories. In 4 weeks and one day, you will wonder why you felt so nervous.
