Where do u meet other lesbians ??

I have been out of a r/ship 4 5yrs and wanting 2 meet other lesbians 4 f/r/ship,but havent got the courage 2 go out on my own ! What should I do?? I dont want 2 end up single and alone 4 the rest of my life.

Hey,

How do feel about meeting up with girls one on one? I have found that meeting a person every now and then has eased me back into the whole social thing. Maybe if you met one or two girls and developed friendships with them then you can all go out together????

Im happy to do that but when I ask lesbian out one on one they stand me up or don't show or reply , just like asking some1 for coffee they say yes then don't return my email or text me they just don't care...

It's my birthday today and everything seems so lonely I haven't got many true freinds they are all in Canada not melbourne.

I feel like that I will be single forever , the only thing to do is ........................

They do what???? How rude! I know it's of little consolation, but if they're going to treat you like that then you don't need them anyway.

Is it possible you may be over eager? I know I get a bit freaked out if someone wants to meet immediately, especially since I've been very particular on my profile about only wanting friends. I much prefer to establish a friendship via messaging first and at least that way there might be some feeling of obligation on their part to be kind enough to call if they need to cancel.

I'm sorry if you're having a crappy birthday, but there are decent people out there, stick with it. I really hope your birthday improves.

Maybe what you need to do is start organising something yourself?

When I moved to Oz last year, I had lots of friends inherited from the missus, but wanted to make more (greedy huh?).

I ran an add in events on the Sofa and started the C.U.Next Time Club in Redcliffe QLD. We meet the last Tuesday of the month, just for drinks and dinner.

I have made some lovely new friends this way, every month about a dozen or more women turn up, and always a few new women also.

It's easy to do and we all have a fantastic time. Maybe you could try something like this in your area?

In the past when I was a paid member I started just msging ppl to for awhile then ask if they wanted a coffee then they stood me up , thats why I don't want to waste my money on mprivate msging,because the samething happens.

As for my birthday I would prefer to be...........................?????
right now it has been crappy.

In December last year I planned and vegan vego lesbian lunch which I put in the classifieds , had 6 ppl. coming I booked ever thing then on the day no1 showed up and only 1 person text me to say sorry can't make it thats when I gave on the idea of sofa and internet dating services in general. I felt like a fool sitting there on my own, even the resturant staff laughed at me.

Birthdays, Valentines Day and Xmas can make us feel very lonely and sad about ourselves, but today seems to be a bad day for a lot of people!!! Have you opened the newspaper today and seen whats happening in Chilli and Argentina, maybe you would feel better if you start helping at Oxfam? It's a great way to make new friends and feel good about yourself at the same time.

Maybe you could call one of your friends in Canada? I know that's only a short term solution, but just maybe it'll get you through today.

How to meet other lesbians? Back in the day of my sexiness i found it hard to meet other lesbians as well, i rather got  the buff gay boys hitting on me..

Loneliness is apart of being gay , thats why they created bisexuals or hasbians to make it easier to rebound and avoid the pain...

Buy yourself a dog , they will love you no matter what they will move in and stick it out!!!!
