This man should be stopped. I had a son at a clinic where I could have allowed him to meet his half siblings if I chose. Now i find my anon donor is a liar who said when he signed a contract that he had no children , and have since found that he has in fact, anywhere up to 80 children. He is 'helping' to impregnate his own state. he makes all the horror stories about sperm donors real. sick f**k should have his balls cut off.

I thought reputable clinics had control measures for such things, limiting the number of families per donor, etc?

Hi. He is of Indian heritage and would be in his fifties. We also thought that the clinics had control of this, that is one reason why we chose a clinic.

The clinics allow 10 families to use the same donor ....However there is no law stopping a man from going from woman to woman in the general population.

Yes J has lied to a lot of people or so it seems. Especially those of us who have met him face to face and asked him how many children there are and the figures he's stating have already been surpassed by the number of children we have contact with.

I guess ultimately the 12 children with whom we have contact are all beautiful healthy little people who are so very precious and who none of us would swap for the world.

Trudy please make contact when and if you feel ready .........so far most of us have been able to turn it into something positive.

Not sure if there's a limit to the number of different clinics one can donate to. However, given what's been said here, and in the other related thread, this sounds completely different from an "anonymous" donor. These women have met the man, spoken to him, etc. He is not anonymous. He is a non-involved donor who has also donated to a clinic (or clinics) by the sounds of it. Very different from the unknown donor scenario.

Sounds awful. I hope he is stopped somehow. Imagine the potential social ramifications if he's not?

what has come to light during last weekend Caramello is that there are a group of women who have met this man and he has been their known donor .....there is another group of women who used an annonymous donor at a clinic and for all intents and purposes the man is one and the same.

He has donated through a clinic annonymously then admitted to being "disillusioned by the restrictions" placed on him by the clinic so has gone freelance so to speak. Now that the truth is slowly unravelling and we can name at least 19 children so far some people are understanably feeling duped like the original poster in this thread.
Myself I'm just going with the flow hoping we can all be friends and our children can all grow up happily and healthily knowing their special situation. I'm not really bitter or angry, just interested in the truth for my child. Oh yeah and to have those,  who attacked us and bagged us out, for supposedly bad mouthing this ''generous'' guy become aware that the truth is slowly unfolding and me thinks it's not the outspoken mothers whose story stinks. Perhaps those going with the sperminators version of events need to rethink their position or was he honest with you did he tell you he was a serial donor and a liar because that would be a first.

God, I don't blame these women for feeling duped!

This just sounds too horrible to be true. And I'm NOT taking away from the fact that you all have beautiful children - of course that's a great thing - and that they can know their siblings if you/they choose - another great thing. But to act as he has done, is actually really dangerous, if you think about it. I'm sure I'm stating what you all know anyway...

I just want to say I feel sad for you all. Something so amazing turns out, in reality, to be bittersweet.

I wish you and all your children happy, healthy lives, despite all of this.

i know exactly who u r talking about.  1st time i have heard he has had over 80 kids though.  he was our 1st donor pic, chose against him, as he seemed bossy and controlling.  gave us the story that we can meet his other offspring too.  from the horror stories i'm hearing now, over 3yrs later, glad we didn't go with him.
still on the hunt for our donor, if anybody knows of anyone, send them our way.
